| Begun in 1980 as a simple gathering of Ford GPA owners on the banks of the beautiful Murray River at Corowa, New South Wales, the Corowa Swim-In has since become the largest ex-military vehicle show under the Southern Cross, gathering worldwide attention among historians and enthusiasts alike. | |
| March 2009 will see the beginning of Corowa's 30th consecutive year of operations, anticipating an unprecedented number of entrants surpassing even the 166 vehicles presented at the 2007 event. The dual theme for 2009 will be Year of the Amphibian and Year of the Blitz II - the former in recognition of the event's original theme, and the latter simply because Australia boasts the largest collection of surviving Blitz's in the world! | |

| To celebrate this historic occasion, and in honour of all those who have made Corowa what it is over the last three decades, I have embarked upon a unique project to compile a permanent record of 30 Years of Corowa. In order to accomplish this ambitious goal, I need your help! | |
| My objective is to produce a written work preserving your memories of Corowa together with a chronology of your photographs taken over the years. Whether you have been a part of Corowa since the beginning, or whether you are relatively new to the Corowa experience, I want to speak to you! Each one of you has contributed to the magic which is Corowa during this time, and it is my intention that you be so recognised! | |
| If you have any stories or photographs to share, or even if you would just like to chat about Corowa, please contact me as below so that we might make arrangements to review your materials. I will be happy to accommodate your schedule as best I can. | |
| I look forward to speaking with you at your earliest convenience! | |
